School Inspection Agency

What we do

External school inspection offers the schools a professional, expert view from outside, and can serve as a basis for further development steps for the school together with its self-assessment. The School Inspection Agency sees itself as a partner for the person responsible for the management and quality in primary schools.

The Educational Board determines quality standards. Schools and schools councils are responsible for quality assurance. At least once every four years, the School Inspection Agency checks the school quality in terms of pedagogics and organisation. The Agency is independent in its decisions.
